K&N 33-2887 Replacement Air Filter Review

(More customer reviews)I recently bought one of these K&N Air Filters for my 2008 Hyundai Sonata (nice car by the way!)
I also have one in my Honda Pilot. I am not here to attest to it giving your vehicle more power or better gas mileage, but I can say it is well constructed and much more substantial than the OEM type filers. I also like that is reusable and can be easily recharged rather than replaced.
I don't really notice more power or mileage but I have not had any mechanical break downs and have not had any reduction in my power or mileage as a result of using this product.
I like it and will always have one in whatever vehicle I own in the future.

The car runs smoothly as expected.
The paper filter seems not as fine as the OEM ones.
I think the filtration particle size is not as small as the OEM ones.
But, it's cheaper than the dealer is charging.
less than 5 min, job done.
beats going to the dealer, making appointment on an oil change and they ask you if you want to change it, and they slap $30 or more on top of the oil change bill, which is already over $50 for a Civic Hybrid.
Recommended buy.

Wix 49063 Air Filter, Pack of 1 Review

(More customer reviews)Despite what amazon says as of July 10, 2010 this item DOES NOT FIT the Acura 2007 TL Base model.You can see what the correct filter looks like on another product made to fit the TL - K&N 33-2379 Replacement Air Filter.It should not be rectangular, but rather have a bit of an indent.The Wix website lists the correct filter model as 49224 -- NOT 49063.

I submitted feedback to get Amazon to stop suggesting this product to owners of the 2007 Acura TL, but I'm not too confident in the customer service representative I spoke with.
