(More customer reviews)I did actually observe a noted decrease in my MPG directly after changing from a cheap-o paper filter to this oiled marvel.
Perhaps it does trap smaller particles than a cheap drop in, but I am not sure if it is worth the reduction in mileage.
Other than that I notice no difference (no power gains, no noise change, nothing).This went in both of my Renix Jeep Cherokee's.
[...]Buy them if you find a good deal, otherwise I would stick to a decent quality paper filter for most OEM equipped vehicles.
