It provides superior filtering while allowing better air flow which gives a slight increase in performance. Another feature is the filter is reusable after cleaning and oiling. Over the long haul the benefits will mean savings in fuel costs and savings in not having to purchase replacement filters. This filter was an exact replacement for the oem filter in my vehicle and does not effect any factory warranty. I highly recommend the use of k and n for any vehicle.
