(More customer reviews)Well, I purchased these filters because A) we had reached the 12,000 mileage to replace, B) it was stinking pretty bad in our cabin, and C) they were much more affordable here than anywhere else, including other online stores.
They arrived in a pretty quick timeframe and I was eager to install a new one asap. The older cabin air filter was DEFINITELY in need of replacement, as the majority of it was covered in a grey dusty color. My wife had about 30k on her car and I'm not sure they ever replaced it before at the dealer.
to the B) reason, I was hoping it would clear up 100% of the weird funk that arises when you start the AC for the first few seconds. As if a bum is living in the engine bay.
While it did clear up A LOT of the odor, some still remains. Many others that I know who own or have owned Audis concur on the stank.
You can't beat the price and the shipping was free...basically a no-brainer. I'm sure they include this in her next check up, but I wasn't about to wait.
